My position as a Social Media & Communications Intern with The Walt Disney Company's Global Talent Acquisition Marketing team allowed me the privilege of creating and curating content for a variety of different platforms. My work primarily supported Technology and Parks Professional roles via the Disney Careers Facebook, Disney Careers Twitter, and The Walt Disney Company LinkedIn.

 

I'm very passionate about highlighting stories through photo and video content. My duties at The Walt Disney Company allowed me to regularly collect photo and video assets showcasing the culture of Technology and Parks Professional careers at Disney. 

 

I was also responsible for creating monthly editorial calendars via Sprinklr, strategizing new ways to increase engagement across all platforms, and contributing to the Disney Internships and Programs Blog. 

 

The most rewarding aspect of my internship was my involvement in creating and implementing the social media strategy for The Walt Disney Company's presence at the 2017 Grace Hopper Celebration. My role in this project included copywriting, capturing photo/video content, Instagram storyboarding, and live-tweeting.
